Wedding Officiants

How much does your Officiant Services cost?

All of our officiant services are in packages.  So depending on how much you need from
your officiant will determine on the package and price.

What will the wedding officiants wear to perform my wedding?

This is completely up to you and the type of wedding you are having.  All of our
officiants have clergy robes, stoles and collard shirts.  The color and style is your
choice.  We usually recommend an outfit and color to you that will blend in properly to
your wedding party.

May we write our own vows?

Yes, definitely.  We encourage couples to write their own vows if they are comfortable
with this.  We do not push the subject if you imply that you do not want this.  Our
officiants can as help you with the writing of these vows.

How do we get the marriage license?

In NYS you can go within the 60 days prior to the wedding to get your marriage license.  
You can get your license from any town hall in NY and get married anywhere in NY.  You
do not have to get it from the town hall of the town you are getting married in.  You
will need picture ID, birth certificate, divorce degree and death certificate (if you were
previously married or widowed).

Do we have to include a religion in our ceremony?

No, the wording and structure of the ceremony is completely up to you.  We help you
religion or culture.

Can we mix religions in our ceremony?

Yes, all of our officiants have been trained to be interfaith ministers.  In that training
they were educated on how to blend religions.  The training they received made it
possible for them to blend religions in a proper way so not to offend each religion.

Do I really need a wedding planner or coordinator?

Yes and no.  Many couples plan their own wedding and have no need for a wedding
planner or coordinator.  But with a wedding planner or coordinator you can be rest
assured of a hassle free wedding day.  The more details you put into a wedding the more
there is to do on your wedding day.

What does a wedding planner or coordinator do for me that I can't do myself?

A wedding planner or coordinator will be there as your advisor, advocate, designer, friend
and sometimes a therapist.  They can help you right from the beginning to choose the
professionals that will be perfect for your event.  They will organize the day to assure a
hassle free event.  They will be the contact person that day for all professionals so that
you can enjoy your perfect wedding.

What does a wedding coordinator cost?

On our site are all of the wedding planning and coordinator packages.  Our prices are
flexible according to the services you need and your budget.  

How long have you been doing this?

I have been planning and coordinating weddings for 19 years.

How do you stay current with wedding trends?

Research and reading.  Also learning from brides and studying online the going trends.

Are you bossy when it comes to coordinating an event?

Never.  I consider all professionals my colleagues and such we work together to make an
event perfect.  I don't bark orders and I don't tell them what to do.  I work with them.
