Hi, my name is Barbara; I am an Ordained Minister in the Full Ministry of Gaiabriel since 1998. My practice is in the Spiritual Healing Arts facilitating Rites of Passages, Meditation Groups, Spiritual Counseling and Hands on Healing.

A friend asked me to officiate her wedding. As I was performing their ceremony I knew this was what I love and was meant to do. My goal is to get to know you and provide choices so we can create a ceremony that fits your personalities .I will assist you in any way I can to create a joyful wedding experience. A bride and groom were referred to me, when I met with them they said we have a date set (in 2 weeks) and a dress. That was it. With some coaching, suggestions and a whole lot of love, they indeed were married at the place of the bride’s dreams and on the date they had set.

I was married this past July and was assigned Barbara as my officiant. As chance would have it, she had also officiated at my best friend’s wedding the prior year, so I was already somewhat familiar with her. Needless to say, even if I hadn’t already known what I was getting, I would have been ecstatic with the services she provided. She was attentive, interested, and beyond helpful. I was coming from a place where I wasn’t really sure how to go about “designing” a ceremony and she guided me every step of the way. She listened to my concerns and even seemed excited about helping me incorporate some unusual elements into my ceremony (I had a Harry Potter-themed wedding, and she came up with the idea of having me and my then-fiance make the “Unbreakable Vow” and even printed our ceremony program in Slytherin green!). In short, I can’t recommend Barbara and Hudson Valley Ceremonies enough. In the midst of a lot of wedding-planning confusion, they were a stress-free no-brainer!
